We hope you all had a great Labor Day Weekend!  A good part about a long weekend is a short work/school week, so we are already thinking about the upcoming weekend.  It looks like it is lobster season in the LA area with three lobster festivals happening this month!  The first of the three events is the Long Beach Lobster Festival, put on by the same people that put on the Long Beach Crawfish Festival that we attended last month.  Held at Rainbow Lagoon in Long Beach, near the Long Beach Convention Center, there will be tons of food, live music, and a kid’s stage.  Lobster feasts are being sold online for $28 which includes the $13 admission until Thursday evening, which is a savings of $7 off the price at the event, so take advantage of the deal!  The lobster feast includes a 1 1/4 lb live steamed lobster, coleslaw, dinner roll, watermelon, lemon, and dipping sauce.   Just a quick tip: when we attended the crawfish festival we noticed a lot of attendees brought their own folding lawn chairs and since seating was fairly limited, this might be a good idea if you plan on going!
