A little bit of a trek up north, Santa Barbara will be having its 24th Annual French Festival this weekend, July 14th and 15th!  Held on Bastille Day, this festival celebrates all things French and welcomes over 20,000 people every year.  There will be plenty of French food like crepes, freshly baked french bread, pastries, and pate.  Arts and craft vendors will be selling a wide variety of goods and there will be a full lineup of French-inspired live entertainment including Can Can dancers, French music, French folk dancing, and on Sunday, a poodle parade!  Admission is free, so if you feel like taking a short road trip up to Santa Barbara this weekend, the French Festival should be a fun stop!
