We hope you all have some fun and exciting plans for 4th of July this Wednesday!  Whatever your plans may be, no 4th of July celebration is complete without watching a fireworks show, so here are a few that caught our eye:

86th Annual Rose Bowl Celebration:  Americafest 2012

The Rose Bowl will host a freestyle motocross show followed by a thirty-minute fireworks display which is “the largest fireworks show in Southern California.”  There will also be an all day festival with food vendors, live entertainment, a kids’ area, and tailgating/picnics are allowed as well.  Admission is $13 for adults, kids 7 and under are free, and parking is $20.  The festival begins at 2 PM, stadium gates open at 6:30 PM, and the fireworks start at 9:05 PM!

Exposition Park will have a 4th of July festival starting at noon featuring live entertainment, food, vendors, and activities for kids just north of the LA Sports Arena.  The night will be capped off by a 60-minute fireworks display at 9 PM.  Admission is free since the Coliseum will not actually be opened, but the show can be seen from the surrounding area, with the best views on Christmas Tree Lane or the South Lawn.  Parking is $10 from 8 AM to 5 PM, and free after 5 PM.  Remember to take a blanket or some lawn chairs!  Check the website for a map of Exposition Park.
